Welcome to John Bannon's 'Sizzle' - an absolute tour-de-force of a packet trick. A jaw dropping SIX phases, it amazes the audience all the way up to an ending so impossible, so utterly unexpected that people may well faint.

SIZZLE - You show a packet of cards consisting of three red backed Jokers and an Ace Of Spades. One of the red backed Jokers from this group is set aside, and replaced with a blue backed Joker. Instantly the other red backed Jokers magically change colour to match the blue stranger. Then one of the blue backed jokers is removed and replaced with a green backed Joker; the other Jokers in the packet turn green as well. Impossibly this happens a third time as a purple Joker turns the packet purple.

This "any card at any number" plot is almost too perfect:

A deck of cards is handed to a spectator. A card is named, along with any position.

Without manipulating the deck, the magician takes the deck, counts to the named position. Not only is the named card at the chosen position, but after that there are two kickers that no other routine allows: on the following card it is written that exactly this position will be named. But this is not enough! Show the game to show that no other card was present in the game!

Card-Shark goes Mental - with Everyday Objects!

An incredibly powerful mental trick using everyday objects, perfect for table magic.

The performer shows 12 cards depicting smaller objects that many of us carry with us all the time, e.g. a pen, finger ring, coin, key, wristwatch, pocket knife, etc.

He shuffles the cards and places them face down on the table in three rows of 4 cards each.
Then he gives a spectator three of the everyday objects depicted with the request to place them on three cards lying face down - distributed over the three rows.

The Spectator has a free choice, no Force! Once the objects have been placed, the remaining cards are taken away and shown casually.
The chosen cards are turned over, they match the items!

This effect is using original Haicicle cards of the first generation, from the early days of Card-Shark. Only a few copies available.

Show your spectator three monkeys. Two of them are dressed as males, but the third is dressed as a 'lady'. The spectator should look for the lady, but suddenly she has disappeared as you show the spectator three male monkeys.

But that's not enough: after she reappears she is found in all three places and the male monkeys have disappeared. The spectator will believe that you spoiled the trick. To fix it you turn over one male monkey and the
lady so that only one card is left. But what will the third card be, you ask? As a big surprise, it is the magician wearing a gorilla costume!

Finally, a very easy to handle Monte for all ages, based on the famous Color Monte.

You show your spectators several masterpieces of art printed on playing cards. One of the paintings is the famous Mona Lisa.

After showing all four paintings, you point out, that one of the paintings is a forgery. When you show Mona Lisa a second time, she is suddenly holding a playing card in her hand. Turning the card around, the spectators are surprised to see Mona Lisa painted from behind. She has to be the fake!

But that is not all, imagine the shock when Mona Lisa reveals she is holding the same card a spectator has previously chosen!
